The sun is shining….

and I think everyone has decided to come to Gower for Easter!

The roads, car parks, cliffs and beaches are really busy with people out and about and enjoying the beautiful weather.

We’ll be working on Easter Sunday – its the egg-citing Easter Egg hunt at Rhossili.  We’ll be laying a trail of clues from the shop to the Lookout, leading to yummy Cadbury’s Egghead chocolate eggs……I may just have to try one – for quality control you understand!  Come and join us – start at our shop anytime from 11am to 3pm.

I was at Rhossili myself earlier today, meeting with Alison and John who are organising the world record skinny dipping event here on June 19th.  Find out more by visiting and sign up if you want to be part of the challenge….

It was quite busy in the shop considering it had only been open for an hour.  If you’re passing do pop in and see what’s on offer – there’s something new every time I call in!

On the way back I stopped off at our Farm at Pilton Green to see how the building works were going.  The house and cottage have been renovated, and the barn on the end is in progress.  We hope to be moving in as temporary office space towards the end of the year as the lease on our current office/workbase in Reynoldston ends soon.

Then it was off to our car park at Pennard to see how Alix is coping with the thousands of visitors coming to beautiful Three Cliffs Bay and stunning coastline.

Our car park was quite busy today!

I also came across several little groups of early purple orchids amongst the violets, and beautiful drifts of bluebells on the cliff tops.

On to Kittle to check on some work done by contractors yesterday, and then back to the office to work on a grant application for an orchard.

I do love the variety of things I get involved with!!
