Surveying in the Sun

My first visit to the Vile (a mediaeval strip field system) and the sun was out! Rhossili was buzzing with activity as half term holidayers made the most of the weather. Not for me the ice cream van though as I had some surveying work to do.

A quick walk up the hill with a brief stop to watch some para-gliders throw themselves from a cliff (attached to their para-gliding gear, obviously) and off to a pond created to provide drinking water for the livestock.

The pond was full of life and damselflies skipped amongst the forget-me-nots and water mint whilst I worked. A good day!
