Still smiling in the rain…..

A rainy Monday afternoon and the wettest, happiest guided walk I can remember leading. The Swansea Bay Racial Equality Council came down to Whiteford for a look around and as a way to introduce them to the National Trust and what we do.

The rain poured down and yet everyone laughed, smiled, asked interesting and challenging questions and despite the soaking were keen to do it all again in a few weeks! The start of something beautiful I think!

Oh and I even satisfied the geek in me by stumbling across a small patch of Ivy Broomrape in the woods, a weird looking parasitic plant that looks like it belongs on a Dr Who set!
